Letter Cc Lapbook

Today we finished the Letter Cc Lapbook.  Evan has the Letter Cc down!  We have been working on it for quite some time now.  There were just too many fun things to do with the Letter Cc and I didn't want to rush through them.  That's one of the wonderful things about Homeschooling.  We can take our time and go through everything at our own pace.  I can say with 100% certainty that the Letter Cc would not have received this sort of attention in a traditional preschool setting!

Letter Cc Manipulatives - Cathy C, Cow, and Crocodile.
Other Cc Manipulatives that are not shown here include the Clock and Castle.  Pictures of those can be seen in older posts.

One of the first Cc words that Evan learned was Caterpillar.  We had a lot of fun with this one and used "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle to learn more about caterpillars (Refer to post titled 'Cc is for Caterpillar').  I did not include pictures of all the manipulatives that we used in that study, so I have included them here.

Sequencing cards to use throughout the story.

"The Very Hungry Caterpillar" eating cards that we used during puppet shows.  Evan's handmade fuzzy caterpillar fits perfectly through the holes.
